THE KNEE PARTY

So this NFL season has been more about players' knees touching down in protest during the National Anthem than about actual touchdowns during the games. Players are protesting the way law enforcement has allegedly violated people's rights and have abused their power. There have been several incidents over the past few years where the conduct of police has come into question. Players believe the platform they have gives them an opportunity to raise awareness to these alleged civil rights violations.

The 1st Amendment of our constitution gives these players the right to peaceful protest. However, they are engaging in these protests while they are on the job representing their organization. I know if I were to engage in some sort of protest while I was representing my employer, I would be disciplined and maybe even fired. So these players are doing this at their own risk. The other issue here is that I don't think anyone is unaware of some of the incidents that have taken place over the past few years. News agencies have thoroughly reported on these alleged violations of civil rights that were perpetrated by law enforcement. Those who have been found guilty in a court of law have been sent to jail. Those who were not convicted, were set free because a jury of peers determined that police acted within the parameters allowed for them to be able to safely perform their duties. Have there been injustices? Yes, I am sure that some people have gotten away with violating people's civil rights. I would agree that there should be zero corruption in our law enforcement system, however I am aware of the fallen nature of mankind. No matter what system of checks and balances we put in place, we will see some people manipulate those systems in a corrupt manner. The awareness we need to be promoting is the sinfulness of all mankind, and the need for God to by His grace change people's wicked hearts.

The protest during the national anthem is strange because anthem is a song that celebrates the lives of those who have died to protect our freedom. That being said, the protest fails to communicate its message of civil injustice, because the protestors' actions are seen as insulting to the many citizens who have loved ones that have died to protect our freedoms.

If these players really wanted to make a difference in communities, they would take time to engage in civil conversations with officers and at the same time talk to the public about showing respect for people in law enforcement who risk their lives everyday to protect us. Instead it seems the majority of these protests are bent on vilifying law enforcement in general.

These protests do in fact show how we are all made in the image of God. We all have a desire for justice to be met. We all understand that there must be a moral standard that all people are required to live by. Justice and morality are not the product of evolution. For if they were, we would really have no reason to subscribe to some temporary arbitrary standard when survival of the fittest would really be the only binding law. The reality is that because of the fall, man has taken on a sin nature that has clouded our view of justice and morality. We daily try to redefine what justice and morality looks like. However if such standards are the rule by which we must live, then such standards must be unchanging and grounded in something greater than us. Fortunately we have a just God who gave us a sense of morality. We must return to his Word so we can clear away the smoke of sin that has clouded our judgment. We must realize that if we really want justice, then we are crying out for our own eternal condemnation, because we have all sinned against the eternal God who made us. What we should be standing for is mercy, because God has shown us such great mercy in that He sent His Son to die for our sins and fulfill perfect justice and perfect love. 

So let us all take a knee in prayer before our Creator, our Lord, our Savior.



THE HILLATRUMP MONSTER

Its quite staggering to witness the daily collapse of America. I thank God that He has revealed to me His sovereignty, and that regardless of how bad things become in this world He is in control and will fulfill His plan. Many Americans and even many Christians have placed their hope for our country's survival in a man named Donald Trump. Others believe our country is doing just fine under Obama, and want to continue his policies by electing Hillary Clinton. Then there are many who don't like Trump, but they know Hillary would destroy this country So they will vote for Trump as the lesser of two evils. Then again there are many who don't like Hillary, but utterly detest Donald Trump. So these people will also vote for what they consider the lesser of two evils.

The reality is that both of these candidates are two sides of the same coin. They appear to differ on things like immigration, gun control, abortion, and foreign policy. However what they have in common is something we should certainly recognize. They have both been caught in a multitude of immoral and self serving lies. Hillary lied about Bengazi, Trump lied about Trump University, his bankruptcies, and his Christian faith. These are just the tips of the icebergs of the dishonesty and immorality of these two individuals.  Scripture says that you will know people by their fruit. The fruit that comes from both Hillary and Trump is rotten to the core. Neither of these candidates have any reverence for what God has said in His word, and neither care about what the constitution says. Therefore why would anyone vote for either of these two narcissistic politicians? Yes I called Trump a politician, because he may not have a career in politics, but he has used sleazy political tactics as well as any career politician to become the presumptive GOP nominee.

The theme of my blog is that I see God in all things, so with regard to this presidential election, how can I possibly see God in this? The Republican party had 17 nominees in the primary. Many of those primary nominees were very strong candidates. Yet the country picked the absolute worst of the bunch from a Godly and constitutional stand point. This is a judgment upon this country that has taken the name of God and spit upon in it. God has provided so bountifully for this country over the past 240 years, but we have thrown His word in a transgender toilet along with the 60 million babies we have murdered in abortion clinics since 1973. We celebrate things that God calls sin, and condemn that which God calls good.

The rejection of God is not just from one party, but from all political parties. Therefore, God has given this country what it has asked for. The Hillatrump Monster. No matter who wins the election, we will witness a greater decline in morality in this country, more division, and more hatred. One way or another,  true Biblical Christianity will be to blame for the fall of this country just as Nero blamed Christians for great fire of Rome.



GOD ISN'T FIXING THIS



PRAYER IS SEEN AS MEANINGLESS PLATITUDES

 

So the New York Daily News wastes little time in using the San Bernardino Terrorist attack as an opportunity to mock God, and to attack those who believe in prayer. The article goes after certain republican candidates who said they were praying for the families of the victims of this attack. This politicization of these comments is meaningless coming from this left wing progressive waste of trees, whose publication is much less valuable than the cheapest toilet paper. Barak Obama and many other progressives whom the Daily News loves have also used this phrase of "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims." The cover of this publication goes on to refer to prayers as "Meaningless platitudes," revealing the atheistic world view this publication promotes.

 

First of all, God is not obligated to fix anything. What utter and horrific hypocrisy that these people would mock God and those who believe because we see people suffering, and yet they passionately promote the daily slaughter of over 3000 babies a day in Abortion facilities. God even provided on opportunity to expose the corruption and evil being practiced at Planned Parenthood with the release of the videos of people going in under cover and interviewing Planned Parenthood employees and executives. Despite this exposure, our culture has chosen to turn a blind eye. Our leadership continues to pretend that the greatest threat to our society is climate change and a lack of gun control.

 

Its quite revealing that California has the strictest gun control laws in the country, yet those laws could not prevent this attack. Why should we expect God to fix anything, when we make no effort to take responsibility for our actions and repent of the horrific murder we finance and support everyday. In God's eyes, there is no difference between the terrorists and our culture. God is in control, and God uses horrific events such as this shooting to draw people unto Himself. God will fix all things when He brings forth his judgment upon sin. The only way God can put an end to sin, is to put an end to sinners, which includes all of us. So we are still alive, because of God's mercy and grace. He is holding back His wrath, but one day that wrath will be released upon this Christ rejecting world. 

 
 
 

BACK TO THE FUTURE!!!

Many people are nostalgically looking back to 1985, and the popular movie that came out back then called Back To The Future 2. This picture is a shot of the time machine control panel where today's date was programed. It is quite interesting to look back and see what we thought life would look like in 2015 from 1985 minds. There are many aspects of 2015 portrayed in the movie that have not come to pass. There are many things that have come to pass here in 2015, that are not represented in the movie.

This is a period of only 30 years, and the producers got so many things wrong. Where are the flying cars?! My main point here is that man cannot predict the future. Man can make educated guesses, but when you look out a thousand years, there is no way man can accurately guess the outcome of any specific things.

Man can't, but God did. God predicted 2500 years in advance in the books of Isaiah and Ezekiel, that Israel would be re-established as a nation after being scattered all over the world. God also predicted in the book of Daniel that the empire that would be in power when the Messiah would come (Rome), would break into pieces and then in the last days reform into a weak union. The European Union fulfilled this prophecy. God predicted in the book of Zechariah that Israel would be the center of conflict in the world, and that every nation around her would want to destroy her. God predicted that the Gospel would be preached throughout the entire world, and that many would believe, but in the last days there would be a great falling away from the faith. We are seeing that great falling away happening right before our eyes.

There are literally hundreds and hundreds of detailed prophecies in the Bible that have been fulfilled. This proves to us that man did not write the Bible, but God wrote it through the prophets and Apostles who penned the books of the Old and New Testaments.

God created time, and is outside of it. He has decreed all that would come to pass, and all comes to pass for His purpose and His glory. He, by His grace is calling His people to come unto Him, and He has given us every reason to believe.

GUNS DON'T KILL...
HATRED OF GOD DOES

So almost weekly it seems that we hear about some sort mass shooting at a school, a movie theater, a mall, etc... After every one of these shootings the politicians get on their soap box and lecture us about how we need more gun restrictions. They continually try to convince the law abiding public that if we restrict those who abide by the law, then these shootings won't happen as often.

I wonder how they come to this conclusion, especially when the city of Chicago has more gun restrictions than any other city in America, yet is among the worst in gun violence. It seems to me that more gun laws give criminals the freedom to kill more people. It seems to me if more people had the freedom to carry wherever, that if someone did decide to start shooting people, they would not get very far.

The problem really has nothing to do with how many laws we have or don't have that restrict guns. If we travel back in time to the 1940's and 1950's, there were no mass shootings happening. Yes, we had more freedom to carry weapons back then, but that really was not the reason shootings didn't occur like they do today. The reason shootings didn't occur back then like they do today, is because our culture maintained reverence for the God of the Bible. The morality of the one true living God, was what our nation professed to live by back then. I know we fell way short of that standard, but the hatred and irreverence for God we see today certainly was held no prominence back then.

Our culture has become a culture of sex and death. We have murdered 60 million babies since 1973, we have re-defined marriage to include homosexual unions. We have taught our children that they evolved from apes. We have outlawed religious speech and expression in many ways. We have preached tolerance for everything except for Biblical Christianity. We allow our kids to watch violence on TV, and play video games that de-sensitize them to death and violence. We as a culture have become Biblically illiterate, yet we are quick to ridicule and look down upon those who do hold to the Bible as being the word of God.

All of these things and much more has caused our culture to embrace the depravity that dwells within us that up until a few decades ago, was suppressed by the influence the Bible had over our culture. If there is no real purpose in life, if there is no moral authority, and no consequence for evil, then the it is not surprising that we see so much evil running rampant.

If we really want to reverse the curse our nation is under, we need to repent and look beyond ourselves to the God of righteousness, and cry out for His mercy. He is in control of every one of these shootings, and can stop them, but He chooses not to, because we have chosen to turn away from Him.

Pope Francis Visits The United States

So the Godless of America are all very excited about the current visit of Pope Francis to America. After all, this pope is a socialist and supposedly tolerant of homosexuals. He speaks out about left wing causes like climate change. He changes church doctrine to fit with the ever changing morality of the world. He is, in the opinion of the Godless all about love.

Sorry, none of these things have anything to do with love. He is a carefully selected front man, meant to improve the damaged image of the Roman Catholic Church. His trip to America, meeting with Obama, and his addressing of Congress is merely a ploy to increase the popularity of the Catholic Church.

God is love. If this pope promotes doctrines and values that oppose or replace the will of God, then he is not about love. Let's begin with Roman Catholic doctrine. Praying to and worshiping Mary violates God's word.

• 1st Timothy 2:5 - For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
• That means, we do not pray to Mary, and she does not pray for us. Mary was a sinner just like us, as scripture says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God
• Mary herself even recognized Jesus was her savior, which means she needed to be saved from her own sin.
• Luke 1:46-47 - And Mary said: "My soul exalts the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.
• The Bible also commands us to never worship anyone or anything but God. 
• Revelation 22:8- I John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. But he said to me, "Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God."…
• If bowing before and worshiping an angel is wrong, then so is bwoing before a sinful human.

The Pope also said indulgences would be given out to those who come to see him. An indulgence is an account of good works one does to reduce their time of suffering in purgatory.

• Purgatory is a fictitious place. It is not Biblical. In fact it is heretical in that it takes away from the sufficiency of Christ's death upon the cross for our sin. Scripture clearly teaches that Jesus died once for all, and that His sacrifice is sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of God's elect. 

The bottom line is that this man does not represent God. He does not represent the true church. In fact, he doesn't even represent the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church. What right does this socialist liberal Godless idol worshiper have to speak to Congress and tell us how we should operate as a country. Maybe he should cease from speaking about climate change and immigration, and start spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Christ Himself commanded us.

SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2015

Isaiah 9:10 and 9/11 - "The bricks have fallen but we will rebuild with cut stones, the sycamores have been cut down but we will replace them with cedars. The Lord has raised up Rezin's adversaries against him and have stirred up his enemies. " Since 9/11 America has rebuilt and tried to make itself more safe just as Israel tried to as described here in the book of Isaiah. But God stirred her enemies against her because she refused to repent and Israel fell. America's enemies are stirred up against her and America has refused to repent. Another 9/11 is coming. I sarcastically add that the chapter and verse of this scripture is purely coincidental.

 

Speaking of purely coincidental....

 

Yesterday (September 10th, 2015), a rainbow appeared over New York City landing directly on top of the World Trade Center tower. Lets look at another "coincidental 9:11 verse in scripture:

Genesis 9:11- "I confirm my covenant with you that never again will all flesh be wiped out by the waters of a flood. And God said this is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all future generations. I have placed my rainbow in the clouds over the earth. "

Interesting timing of this rainbow over the World Trade Center. By God's word the rainbow has nothing to do with celebrating homosexuality, but has everything to do with God's mercy on us despite our sin. The book of Revelation promises that great judgment is coming and though we know it won't be a flood, we do know it is coming. The world will be judged again as God did with the global flood because of its horrendous sin, just not with water. God warned America on 9/11/2001, but we as a nation have not heeded that warning. So God may not bring buildings down again, but wrath is surely coming to America for her rebellion against God. Repent and look to Jesus Christ for your salvation.

 

God is proving Himself to us on a daily basis if we only would stop and look, we will see God in all things. Even in the tragic events of our existence.
